Sovereign Connect selects Sennheiser DW Series for MS Lync contact centre

Sennheiser, a leading provider of premium headset solutions, has won a major order to supply Sovereign Housing Association with 130 DW Series wireless headsets for its Sovereign Connect contact centre, through Sennheiser's reseller partner Communications Solutions UK. An important purchasing consideration for Sovereign was that the DW Series is available in versions fully optimised for use with Microsoft Lync and so can maximise the benefits of and work seamlessly with the Microsoft Lync telephony system used by Sovereign Connect.

Sennheiser's multi-award winning DW Series of wireless headsets provides industry-leading range of up to 180 metres, 12 hours of talk time and fast charging, with three hours talk time in just ten minutes and full charge in one hour. Sennheiser is an official Microsoft Lync partner so the DW Series is fully optimised for use with Microsoft Lync enabling plug-and-play connection with proven compatibility and high-quality audio. The Sennheiser DW Series offers true wideband audio when connected to Microsoft Lync PC softphones or IP desk phones to give better sound quality and speech recognition.

Sovereign Housing Association manages more than 36,000 homes for over 70,000 residents across the south and south west, making it one of the largest housing associations in England. Debbie Humm, Head of Sovereign Connect comments, "We want to provide the very best customer service experience for our residents so we are moving from reactive to proactive management of residents' needs. The implementation of Microsoft Lync with Sennheiser optimised DW Series headsets is an important step in that transformation process. The headset itself is really comfortable to wear and the sound quality is great."

For Sennheiser UK, Jane Craven, Director of Telecom Sales stated, "We are delighted to be fulfilling another major order for the multi-award winning DW Series through our reseller partner Communications Solutions UK. An increasing number of contact centre operators are recognising the significant productivity uplift that
wireless headsets can provide. As the DW Series is fully optimised for Microsoft Lync, Sovereign Connect has a compatible plug-and-play wireless headset solution."
