Digital 6000 can be seamlessly integrated into existing digital or analog infrastructures. The EM 6000 receiver has a digital AES-3 output with word clock inputs and outputs, high-quality transformer-balanced analog XLR and 6.3 mm jack outputs as well as a 6.3 mm headphone output. The Dante™ version with an Audinate Brooklyn ll card additionally offers two Amphenol RJ-45 connectors for integrating the receiver into a Dante™ network, for redundant networks or daisy chain cabling.

As a professional product the EM 6000 reciver has been designed to be compliant with large and complex network instalations as found in many of our customers instalations such as broadcast studios. Customer feedback was received to ensure that no unneccesary traffic is broadcast over the network.
As a feature of the Bonjour protocol (mDNS) to enable simple device detection the IP Address of the devices is constantly broadcast. Therfore in the EM 6000 network setting we have included the option for this to be enabled and disabled.
If the mDNS functionality is disabled in the IP Mode “manual” the device will not be found by WSM automatically, and the IP address of the device must be entered into WSM manually.
Auto: EM 6000 supports DHCP servers and can receive an IP address. If no server is found, an IP address will be given by the EM 6000 automatically, mDNS is enabled

Manual Entry of IP Address in WSM:
To change the IP address of the EM 6000 reciever in WSM, right click on the device in the system window and the propties tab for the device will appear where you have access to the network properties of the device.
